About HeoCoin
Why HeoCoin exists.
There is a growing gap between what a family believes matters and what actually happens every day. HeoCoin was created for that gap — not to raise your child for you, but to help values become behavior that lasts each day.
Why ages 6–12?
A stage still close enough to build the foundation together.
This is the stage when children begin to form a clearer view of themselves, responsibility, limits, and their own choices.
Old enough to take part
They are old enough to understand an agreement, weigh a trade-off, and join in the small decisions of family life.
Still wanting to be close
And at the same time, they still want closeness, to be acknowledged by parents, and to do things together with them.
The window to walk together
HeoCoin walks with your child every day
Your child steps forward with their own identity
Small everyday agreements gradually become the self-management your child carries as they grow up.
A quiet stage, easy to let slip by
Because children at this age are usually still cooperative and do not create big conflicts, this is also a stage that is easy to overlook. Many families only start to worry when their child reaches the teen years, when the need for a separate identity grows stronger and the distance from parents has already become clear.
So HeoCoin chooses to start earlier
HeoCoin wants to walk alongside earlier — while the bond is still natural — so that small everyday agreements gradually become the self-management, responsibility, and inner strength a child can carry into the teen years.

Ages 6–12 are when parents can still build the foundation together with their child, before the child needs to walk forward with an identity of their own.
Vision
Helping children develop four key foundations in the age of AI.
Competence
The ability to finish, solve problems, and achieve what they set out to do.
Character
The values a child practises: responsibility, kindness, integrity, patience.
Agency
The ability to make their own choices and act with purpose, within fitting boundaries.
Digital discipline
Using technology with intention, with limits, and with responsibility — building healthy digital habits rather than depending on external control.
These are things a child practises over time — not scores or fixed labels placed on them.
Mission
A daily practice system for the whole family.
Help children build inner strength
Create an environment for children to practise responsibility, perseverance, managing resources, and reflecting on their choices.
Help parents accompany instead of control
Shift from constant reminding to clear agreements, from emotional reactions to observation grounded in data.
Help families share a language about values
Agree together on what is being practised, why it matters, and who the family wants to become.
Product philosophy
Seven guiding principles.
Human-first
People decide; the system supports.
Agreement-first
An activity is an agreement, not a task.
Trust-first
No proof needed to verify a child.
Reflection over judgment
Data to look back, not to label.
Momentum over perfection
Care about direction, not forcing a streak.
Agency within boundaries
Children understand the reason, choose, and self-adjust.
Technology with purpose
Learning to use technology aware of its impact.
The meaning of the name
Why “HeoCoin”?
HeoCoin“Heo” (piggy)
evokes the piggy bank familiar to Vietnamese children — a place to add a little at a time, every day. Heo stands for slow, safe, intentional accumulation.
“Coin”
is not real money and not a measure of a child's worth. It is a tangible unit for children to practise choosing, saving, waiting, and trading off.
The training-wheels philosophy · From rewards to self-management
Like a bicycle with training wheels — and then the training wheels come off.
Rewards begin the journey
Coin and rewards help a child take the first action and commit to small steps.
Progress builds competence
A child gradually sees themselves improving, and the sense of progress becomes inner motivation.
Identity nurtures agency
Over time, a child acts not for coin, but because “this is who I am”.
The long-term goal is not for a child to depend on HeoCoin forever, but for them to need less external structure as their self-management grows.
How it began
The people building HeoCoin.
HeoCoin was built from the experience of being a mother, from curiosity, from learning again from scratch, and from many real conversations with children and families.
Product manifesto
Children do not need tighter surveillance. They need a safe environment to learn to observe themselves.
Parents do not need another dashboard telling them their child is good or bad — they need just enough signals to notice, pause, and talk.
Technology should help a child understand their choices more clearly, not take those choices away.
HeoCoin is built to help a child know what is worth doing — even when the reward is no longer there.
